The Asia-Pacific Health Awakening Association is the public-health advocacy partner within the precision health ecosystem, extending genetic testing and precision health from a personal service into a social movement that can be spread.
The Association is a non-profit public-interest organisation dedicated to promoting precision health and preventive medicine, advancing health awakening by bringing industry, academia and research together, in service of its core purpose: knowing health precisely.
The Association’s identity is built on “awakening”, turning the exclamation mark into a brand symbol for the moment a person becomes conscious of health. The upper form stands for the person as the starting point, the dot below for the point where action begins, conveying the shift from understanding health to acting on it; the orange primary colour stands for the cycle of health and the tension of moving forward.
The Association will work on education and on connecting with public-health policy, promoting precision health through the platform and launching training programmes for health management professionals. It will also deepen cross-sector collaboration, drawing on the resources and channels of major enterprises to advance the practice and acceptance of precision health at a societal level.
